Laptop worked just fine without any signs of issues. Turned off at night, got up next morning and on boot I had a list of F keys to press attempting to boot.
Removed SSD B+H key, placed in USB dock, desktop machine reads drive and has all folders listed. Clicking on any folder results in "A fatal hardware error has occurred" and will not open the contents of the folder. There are 3 .sys files also below the folder list. When I try to open them, my desktop OS immediately says, "You are attempting to open a .SYS file, find a program". So, this proves I can read data from this drive.
What I have done thus far: R-Studio, EaseUS, GetDataBack, AOMEI, and all of them report "Scanning bad cluster..." and retrieve no data. The drive was an NTFS and has suddenly switched to a RAW format preventing me from running CHKDSK. Hooked drive up to MacOS and uBuntu, got a msg on ubuntu that "Windows is in hibernation..." Is there any possible way to retrieve the data on this drive?
