Yep - Vcc from MSP is connected to Out of NL

Changed MSP430 - and what should i say - i'm IN ;)

Thx for everything

it's not easy to find out, because both sides...

i think i know where the 1,8V came from

maybe this should be just a 0-Ohm Resistor? should i try to short it :D - i'm so shy

No, don't short it yet. You still haven't told us where the diode is connected. Is there a marking code on it? Where is the 4.4V coming from?

Measure the resistance of the resistor on your patient and donor.

Finally it already works :)
but i can check when cloned if you want ;)

That must mean that the "NL" LDO must getting its power from 5Vin rather than 5Vout. I wonder if the heating that you sensed was actually coming from the resistor rather than the diode. On another Crucial SSD there was a 10 ohm resistor in series with the supply to the MSP430.

Here is another soft start thread:

it's a 10 Ohm restistor, and yes, i think that's what was hot - but my FLIR cam is on the way, so in future, i can send you thermal pics ;)

Read the ROM on the programmer and put it here, there may be problems with it.

no - i already changed ROM before ;)

but as written, Problem is solved by changing MSP Chip

The ROM is unique, for each SSD, it cannot be changed, and it has a block that is responsible for the MSP

i know that it is unique, it was just a Test to find out if the ROM Chip was faulty.

but as told - i already have all the data

FLIR arrived :D

have to play around with it, but first images shows me, that i'm not that bad at guessing temperatures :D

Not sure what your calibration is like, but flip the pcb over and check it again.
