Hi guys, I'm new to the forum, my name is Davide, sorry for my poor English! I was fumbling in the computer case while it was on, and by mistake I moved the SSD cables, when i restarted the pc, the SSD is gone, not displayed in the bios, not even in disk management. I think I made a short circuit (?).
I wanted to ask if I could do something. I attach some photos

There is a 10-pin e-fuse above the SDRAM. Measure the voltages at its input and output pins.

Thanks for the quick reply. I wanted to ask you kindly, since I am not an expert, if you can tell me by marking on the photo which pin I should measure. Sorry but I can't go on

Measure 5Vin and 5Vout. Use a screw hole as your ground reference.

I checked under a microscope and realized that it is burned, has a small burned bubble on top. Can that component be purchased?

It's and STEF4S e-fuse:

If there are no other problems, and if your PSU is OK, you can bridge 5Vin to 5Vout. Measure the voltages first, though.

Assuming the power supply is ok, with this bridge in the future can cause problems? Can you make some lines for me to figure out what to connect with what? Just to make no mistake, thanks

I've marked the points on the photo. I don't know how much more I can tell you other than to join the two points. Be aware that the drive will work, but it will no longer be protected from overvoltages. Replace the IC with an STEF4S if you want continued protection.

That said, if you are unable to measure a voltage, then you might consider passing the task to someone else.

I made the bridge and now it works! Yes, that looks like it (DFN package). I would prefer to buy it from a trusted source like Farnell, RS Online , Digikey, Mouser.

I mounted the component, but now if I try it doesn't work  can there be some other problem? Before, it worked with the bridge

Can you measure the voltages on each pin?
