Only MTP and PTP options are available on the device.
Is there a way to get direct access to sectors without chip off?

Maybe.

For example, a particular Garmin UPS defaults to MTP mode but can be switched to USB mass storage mode by using an undocumented method.

maybe something like this? https://github.com/JasonFerrara/jmtpfs

Quote:
Usage:

Run jmtpfs with a directory as a parameter, and it will mount to that directory
the first MTP device it finds. You can then access the files on the device as
if it were a normal disk.

I doubt this gives raw sector access.

It seems to be similar to this tool
https://www.mtpdrive.com/index.html
It mapping devices operating in MTP mode to a drive letter and you can only access files but no disk appears in disk\device management so there is no access to sectors.
Thanks

Perhaps you could give us a fighting chance to provide a non-generic response by telling us the model of the camera and/or the chipset that it uses?

I don't have the camera anymore the owner took it, he said he had to film something important.
I told him the more you write new data more chance that it will not be possible to recover deleted files anymore.
In any case it was no brand I don't know if it was possible to know the chipset without disassembling totally.
