Configuring the System for an SSD

I have installed Windows system on an SSD. Does anyone know whether some changes are to be made in the system’s settings? (For example, to disable drive defragmentation or indexing.) Is defragmentation, indexing, and perhaps also some other options unnecessary and harmful to an SSD?

Modern OS are aware of SSD existence and will not defragment those. Just use an SSD like normal disk. I do believe any tweaks are unnecessary.

Thank you. It seems that Windows 11 is able to recognize whether the drive where it is installed is an HDD or an SSD.
