I have examined the firmware payloads (.bin ) within some MPtool archives: https://xfjportal.com/index.php/2020/12/14/asolid-as2258-mptoolmask-phision-ps3111/ After decoding these BINs, I see that they consist of several similar modules, each with a size of around 1.4MB (0x169230). Could these be loaders ??? I could extract them, if they would be of any use. I notice that all the numbers are big-endian. |

FWIW, here are the firmware modules I have extracted from an MPTool package: http://users.on.net/~fzabkar/SSD/ASolid/AS2258_MPtool_FW_BINs.7z These are the tools I wrote to work with the package files: http://users.on.net/~fzabkar/FreeBasic_W32/ASolid/ I see a reference to PS3111 in one of the files. |

Are Ace's loaders their own original code, or are they Phison's factory loaders, or Phison loaders that have been hacked by Ace? The ASolid MPTool contains two BIN files, one for MP and another for RDT. I'm guessing that the RDT BIN is used for burn-in (Rapid Diagnostic Test ?), while the MP BIN is the final shipped firmware (Mass Production ?). |

I receive the same ssd few days ago i must return back to the client but researching in the web i find this thread http://flash-extractor.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=63248 from flash extractor apparently the drive does not use encryption instead xor but for ecc code uses lpdc. |
