 Post subject: Gigabyte SSD 240 GB Not Detected

Hello,
I have one case gigabyte 240 gb ssd not detected. i found 2 marked things in the pic burn. i change both and connect to pc but ssd is not getting detected in pc. please help.

Check the resistance of the polyswitch. Also measure the voltages on each side of the polyswitch, and the voltages at each inductor.

You have no output from each of the 3 DC-DC converters.

Measure the resistances of each of your marked capacitors. This will tell you if there are any short circuits, in which case you would suspect that the major ICs are damaged.

If there are no shorts, check the voltage on SATA power pin #3. This should be 0V. If it is 3.3V, then Power Disable / DevSleep is active.

Can you tell us the markings on each of the DC-DC converter ICs?
