Anyone still selling decent brand M.2 SATA SSDs?

I'd like to upgrade the M.2 SATA NGFF style SSD in my Dell Venue model 7140 tablet/laptop to a 512GB or 1TB but am having trouble finding any M.2 SATA SSDs of any capacity from a decent brand. They would need to be 2230, 2242, or 2260 size. All I'm finding is tons of AliExpress/Chinese knock-offs. Don't get me wrong, I know they're all made in China, but there's a big difference in the decent name-brand stuff from a reputable manufacturer and the KingGamer, KindData, KingSpec. Does anyone know anything about the Transcend brand?

WD still produce them at least under the blue/red labels. You might also find some crucial MX500 kicking around too.

Do you have any links? Because I can't find any information on either of their sites for current devices that meet my needs, nor can I find anyone selling them, anywhere. From what I can tell, neither of these manufacturers make much of anything other than NVMe drives, which are not compatible with my system and were not what I was asking about. I need specifically a drive that is SATA and has B & M key connector and is 60mm or shorter. I did see a couple of SATA NGFF type drives on the WD site in the series you mentioned, but only in 80mm, which I can't use and wasn't asking about.

I checked the interface rather than the length the WD's are 2280. Looks like you may well be life with junk drives then.

Transcend and Silicon Power are two brands that seem to be regarded reasonably well in the user forums.

Yes, I've found a 1TB Transcend of the right type, a compatible size and a decent price. I think I'm going to give them a try. I'll look into Silicon Power as well.

For the record, I couldn't find anything made by Silicon Power other than 2280 drives. I ordered a Transcend 1TB M.2 SSD 430S.
