Hi all,

I have accidently knocked-off a component from my NVME. I have found the photos of the same model and another model that has similar design.

I couldn't determine this part. May be a filter or a resistor. I don't know. Thank God the traces aren't ripped off.

I really need help.

BTW, I've tried 10k resistor but no success PC doesnt recognize the SSD.

If you can tell us the part markings on the IC, I could at least try to find its datasheet.

That IC is a load switch. It appears to be providing some level of protection at the 3.3V input to the SSD.

The top end of the missing component appears to be connected to the 3.3V input. You should verify this by performing a continuity test with a multimeter, or by observing the vias on the other side of the PCB.

The bottom end is connected to pins 1, 2 and 3 of the IC. Those are the power inputs.

Therefore, the only thing that makes sense for that missing component is an inductor. If so, then you can bridge it with a wire link or a blob of solder.

My opinion: the missing part is the fuse (0 Ohm).
Because the key does nothing except soft start...

I've removed the 10k resistor and soldered a filter(inductor). And..... It WORKED.
