I apologize in advance if this isn't the right forum to post in.

I was using a crucial m.2 nvme p2 2280 1tb ssd in one of those Chinese ssd enclosures. I disconnected the cable mid transfer and now it shows up as USB drive and I can't access files. How can I fix the drive? Would buying a new enclosure help?

Add info: I used to use this drive as the boot drive on my computer and I just put it in the external enclosure without changing anything. I just need some data off it before I reformat it to use in my laptop.

Data has some signicance, I'd like to save it I can. I don't mind losing the specific data I was copying

Troubleshooting done:
1. Restarted pc
2. Uninstalled usb mass storage driver from device storage
