Hey folks. I have a Samsung SSD 750 EVO 250GB that produced errors when the SATA cable was not fitted properly. These have been written to the SMART status. I would like to reset these because they just do not report the real status of the drive (block check runs with no errors). I know that it was possible in the past to reset SMART status, but actually have no idea if that would work for this drive. Is that doable? |

ATA CRC error count is almost always related to cabling and yet it's not designed to be reset once the issue was addressed. |
