Hi All,
Is there a possibility of finding old translation tables and recovering data from this crucial X8 ,Controller is Phison PS2251-17-43 .

Amarbir, I mean if you read the brochure about the controller it sounds like a beefed up USB flash drive controller and so this "SSD" may be nothing more than a beefed up USB flash drive which may not even support TRIM. And so formatting (quick) may be purely a file system level op. I am jus thinking out loud, but I'd check that rather than assume it's trimmed.

The controller appears to incorporate an NVMe SSD controller with a USB-NVMe bridge at the front end.

Thank you. So it does not seem to report it supports TRIM
