Did you check it's "zeroed" then? |

Amarbir, I mean if you read the brochure about the controller it sounds like a beefed up USB flash drive controller and so this "SSD" may be nothing more than a beefed up USB flash drive which may not even support TRIM. And so formatting (quick) may be purely a file system level op. I am jus thinking out loud, but I'd check that rather than assume it's trimmed. |
