hello everyone and happy new year!

This happens in the same camera and same day, same memory card. Photos taken from 11:00 to 15:00 and from 19:00 to 23:00 are fine. Photos that was shot between 15:00 and 19:00 either won't open at all, or heavily broken.

I took the image of the memory card through gddrescue and ran DMDE on it, no luck.

Any DIY methods or any software that I can buy?

the card is ExFAT Sandisk ultra 128gb

Can you share one of the broken images?

I can see two thumbnails for two different photos. Arch Stanton is our resident expert.

File is a mess, contains 4 JPEG starts.

So you want software to do what exactly? Were they recovered FS based or signature based?

both FS and signature. actually I tried recovery hoping that it would find them, I knew that this has nothing to do with file recovery and no recovery needed because files written to card like this

So these files were found like this on a memory card? Have you tried with Klennet Carver?

- yes those files were like this on the memory card

- I tried klennet carver after seeing your message yesterday, I always wanted to try that. wow, that software tortured my pc real good. It found some missing photos intact but there still some photos missing, do you that this the last thing that can be done in this case?
