I have some Silicon Power SSD and I back up everything as dead SSD logic is hard to fix at the best of times.

I have one in my Dell I am using for this forum at the moment.

hack3rcon, I forgot to ask the most important thing: do you remove the jumper after connecting? Before defining ("Update") it in the program.

p.s. We put a jumper - connect to the computer - remove the jumper.

I can't say anything. I repair flash drives on Windows 7 x32. I haven't tried them on 8-11.
But that's what they sometimes say on forums...
