Sandisk Cruizer Micro 16 GB is getting detected as "Karona Sp5" with lower capacity 64 MB Is there any software solution to restore capacity ? I have sent it to my friend having pc3000 portable but he couldn't recover. Anyone pls. help Here it shows following PID /VID

It means that controller has no connection/ cannot read the NAND. In most cases it's because of NAND degradation. If the data is important - chip off is the way. If you want to fix it - check all the soldered components. But there are low chances to fix it. |

If this model is having TSOP nand /mcu then it can be transplanted to donor pcb. But for monolithic it may not be possible. |

If it is TSOP and it's degraded, transplant will not work. If it's monolith - chip off is the only way. |
