Samsung 840 Pro 512GB - MZ-7PD512

I believe my SSD is stuck in BSY State.

Its old but very little use - <1 year with little read/writes.

Tried power cycle trick - no change. (plug SATA Power only - ON for 60 mins, OFF for 60 seconds, ON for 60 mins)

Using systemrescue USB on different laptop w/ SATA-USB
Code:
sudo hdparm -I /dev/sdb
/dev/sdb:

sudo smartctl -a /dev/sdb
Read Device Identity failed: scsi error device will be ready soon

Using systemrescue USB on same PC via SATA
Code:
ata5: link is slow to respond, please be patient (ready=0)
ata5: link is slow to respond, please be patient (ready=0)
ata5: link is slow to respond, please be patient (ready=0)
ata5: hardreset failed
ata5: reset failed, giving up

I read that I can short two pins to enter SAFE/TECHNICAL mode - https://www2.futureware.at/~philipp/ssd ... Manual.pdf

Is data recovery without PC-3000 possible?

I would be willing to pay in advance for DIY Solutions, Ideally trying to avoid sending off to a Data Lab

some other members - @ivo.andonov - seemed to have fixed this specific drive by changing / re-soldering the RT9991

Ive also read it could be the internal fuse.

I am planning to check these parts when my Multimeter arrives, and possibly change them.

Does anybody else have any ideas? - Data Recover in the UK is now around £550 for this task
