ADATA Premier Pro SP900 shorting everywhere

Need your guys help!
I have this SSD ADATA SP900, It is shorting everywhere. By getting to ROM mode. Controller works fine (Sandforce SF-2281VB4-SPC).
Can anyone provide measurements for the drive. And what can be faulty?

Yeah, but i mean the short is what makes the drive to not work

I should have said there is no short in your PC3k screenshot. Those areas you have marked out are capacitors. These are powered from the two DC-DC converters, U5 and U6. Measure the voltages at the inductors.
The fact that your controller identifies itself in ROM/safe mode suggests that its Vcore and Vio supplies must be OK, so that contradicts the claim that its bypass capacitors are shorted. Are you relying on a beeping multimeter, or are you actually measuring these resistances? What are the resistances between ground and each of the inductors?

I will get a donor SSD soon. I will test it out on the donor
But i'm pretty sure that something is shorted
because the light indicators on PC3000 Portable Pro only shows that way when there is a short on the board. If the board is not shorted the light should came in BSY if there is a problem with Firmware of the drive

Just get your multimeter and measure those test points that I asked for. I suspect that you tested the Vcore bypass capacitors on the continuity range of your meter. This range often has a threshold of 100 ohms. Any resistance less than 100 ohms causes the meter to beep. An ARM core typically has a resistance of 100 ohms, so that is probably what you were measuring. Nothing else makes sense to me.

Oh and resistances of the inductors from left to right are 210 ohms/ 510 Ohms / 510 Ohms

The voltages and resistances appear to be OK.
The 1.0V supply is Vcore. A resistance of 210 ohms seems normal for an earlier core.
I have seen a 2.9V NAND Vcc supply in other SandForce SSDs, so that is not unusual.
In your earlier images you identified "shorted" capacitors. A short measures 0.0 ohms, or close to it. I can't see how that is consistent with your latest measurements. :-?

Is there anything else i can measure??
I just measured the resistances of those "shorted" capacitors that i marked
All of them are measured. 20ohms on 1 side. and 0.8 ohms on the other side of the capacitor

Electrical issues arent the only thing that causes PC3K to light up like a Christmas tree. As Franc says , if you have life in the controller in safe mode this is more likely to be nand related check you have voltage on some of the caps close to the nand but I suspect you're not going to be able to recover a sandforce in this state.

I have tried to identify the other ICs, but none of them appear to be regulators.
What are the markings on U7 and U1?

Capacitors that are shorted They are all 1V

1V is Vcore, but then the resistances are 20 ohms versus 210 ohms.

HVK is a "single 0.8-V to 3.6-V low power buffer with open-drain outputs":
https://www.ti.com/packaging/en/docs/pa ... arking=hvkBEFF is a Monolithic Power current-limited switch or e-fuse. There would be 5V on Vin and Vout, so that isn't your problem.

I didn't mean to suggest that U7 was a potential problem. I was merely confirming that it wasn't power related.

yeah i was just measuring just in case
So i think the problem is in Vcore rail. All those caps that are shorted are all in that line

A Vcore voltage of 1V is OK, as I understand it. The supply voltage seems unaffected by the low resistance. I just don't understand why your two Vcore resistance readings differ.
