Can u help me to recover data from a pen drive which is not detected in windows. I opened the drive and found all components (except for main chip) are OK. Can u advice me any device or software for recovery.

do you mean the usb flash disk , thats a hard process

I don't think these programs will help if the drive isn't recognized.

What someone needs to do is come out with a PC3000-like program for pen drives. Something that has a database of all the common controller chips, and how they arrange data. Then, you could just remove the flash chips, put in a reader, and have the special software decode it, take into account bad blocks, wear leveling, etc...

If main NAND/flash memory semiconductor is shot, your only chance is with an electron microscope, examining charges. However, you may want to look at a EPROM/Flash memory programmer if desperate (however write levelling will be a pain to get around).

If your pendrive is not recognized by windows, almost for sure you have blown up the microfusible on the +5v side.
Check it (seem like a smd resistor but darker, near to the "input pins " of usb drive).

You may bypass it with a thin- 0.2mm- piece off copper.

If not, check the quartz osc -it have to be 12MHz-

In my experience, resoldering the circuit board where the four USB contacts connect to it stands a 70 percent chance of repairing it so the device is recognized. Over time, repeated insertion and removal stresses and eventually microfractures these solder joints, causing a bad electrical connection. Try resoldering those four solder joints. Spooging the joints with soldering rosin first makes it a lot easier and will likely prevent any solder bridge from accidentally forming to short the contacts.
