USB stick flashes 8 times, then nothing

I have a USB stick in for recovery.
When plugging into a USB port, it flashes 8 times and then - nothing.
All solder points have been checked, the main ones resoldered - to no avail.
Any ideas anyone??
Thanks
Duncan

If so most likely you will be able to recover data with restorer2000 pro.
There's not much point in trying recovery software if it's a hardware issue.
Thanks

Hi,
You will have to desolder the nand chip(s), and read it out externaly.
Then you of course need a Nand reader and software.
But it's possible to recover it.

I made one for myself...
There are some programmers like Xeltek that can read these memories, but I didn't have much success withit till died.
