Hi, I've found that the head crash

My Haddiskim:

Date 29 JAN 2011
DCM: HHCVJHB
DCX: RS19X1FZ8

A 500 ​​GB hard drive. This disc had found on the Internet searching for donors. (http://www.harddrivesforsale.com/wd5000 ... zs1-2.html)
Donor:
MDL: WD5000BMVV-11SXZS1
S / N: WX21A4196717
Date: 20 MAY 2011
DCM: HAOTJVN
DCX: 9S11X4FZ6

Do you think is appropriate donor hard disk head?

Judging by the question, I guess you are not experienced in head swaps and data recovery in general.

Are you sure you want to do this yourself? With that particular drive, chances of success are... zero?

PS. You are willing to spend $200 for a donor but you won't consider pro help?

Can you tell me why is not suitable donor?

Northwind is right. Even if you have diagnosed it right, and even if the head change goes well, you will struggle to extract the data without specialist equipment to maintain stability and compensate for read errors and slow surface access which is very common after such repairs...

In short, the donor part is compatible enough. Try at your own risk.
