FYI, I have recently found out that Ace will be deactivating all the PCI versions with the next few months. So you will have to look for a UDMA someone wants to part with......and good luck with that.

I think resell PC3K is illegal (license not allow that).

also true.....you need Ace's permission to transfer a license.

...and most likely declined as registered license would not be able to be transferred.

I have an original PC3000 IDE with dongle and original manual which is no longer used.

Why do you want one? The UDMA one is vastly superior and MUCH easier to use. The old one seems to only like the one motherboard that its currently attached to and the software doesn't work under XP/Vista/Win7 (we had it working as windows 98, I think). The dongle serial number does not give you access to the ACE resources (its genuine, just old) so its really only good for really old HDD's and its functionality is quite limited.

BadMac, you are talking about the original ISA Version of PC3K, the one in question here is the PCI version (~2004 onwards).

The OP asked for Original PC3000, I was offering that, Not the PCI version. I did realise the difference, but was willing to help the OP even if he doesn't know what he/she was asking.
