pc3000 update

hi,
Im a newbie in data recovery, just wanna ask how to update pc3000udma, i've already installed pc3000 using the cd version 3.49, and i've recieve the the update version 4.39, if i install the new version does it make a fresh installation and activate the product again or it just install and upate the old version? please send some instructions pls...

in the update box you have all the steps that you need it.

The origninal install disk is this volume when you first get it. Then you go to your update box and the latest version that you are entitled to is in your update box along with all drivers and even the codes for your card. There is also all the FW that you need in there. Start to download all from your box. Once you have this normally there is two files one is an update and the other is full install. Install it again on top of the older version of the program, enter your card number again. When installing it copy the activation code and save to file. Go to the activation server from ace and use this. Activate it again they will give you the code when you are on line takes a few min to do this one. Open the prorgam and point to the code file you have saved to your desktop. This will activate the newer version of this program for you. All updates work the same. They will install on top of your older version of the program but you have to activate each new update. Good luck
