Hello Gurus
i have following hdd
Model : ST31500341AS
Serial : 9VS372TK
Firmware : CC1H
Capacity : 1 397.27 GB (2 930 277 168)
It was in busy state.
i tried busy state solution and it resolved
but if i tried partition analysis ,showing data green Z icon (pic attached)
this hdd is attached as secondary (as i discussed with customer he said no encryption,no raid,no hdd password)
So please guide.

How was the drive used by the customer? In an external? What kind of system? Any other details?

Its internal HDD .Connected secondary HDD for data storage(with single partition on win XP)
Even if i tried raw recovery its shows data but unable to open

Can you read LBA's all the way to the end of the drive?

when u tried RAW did you get working JPG`s (for example) or all damaged?
(since i hate seagate, i prefer in such case to CLONE IT) then do whatever you are doing)
IF jpg`s are ALL DAMAGED IN RAW, i can think only of 1 things = ur client.

Clone it as per einstein9's sensible suggestion.
Then scan it with other recovery sw such as rstudio, UFS explorer, GDB etc...

i again discussed with customer ,he said that drive is compressed drive.
initially just i tried raw recovery and checked some jpg files which was currupt.
then i found Z represents for zip so i recovered some folders which was dcm files so cant open with regular viewer its showing corrupt files (due to that reason i confused and whole hdd contains only dcm files)
then i installed DCM viewer and checked data .(all ok)
