PC3K Users, are you going to upgrade to PCI-E

March 23rd, 2014, 14:04

So just noticed theres a nice new PCI-E UDMA (talking about UDMA not express) card out with apparently a special upgrade offer for current owners. Anyone know what the price is and are you going to upgrade. Awaiting a response re price from Ace. Would certainly be nice to have the extra speed of the PCI-E slot and hopefully a 64 bit driver.

Currently looking at that too. I did get a price from them a while ago, but can't find it right now.

Gimme a buzz tomorrow.

I won't until they cut support for UDMA. What's the point?

After 2016, no more support/upgrades?

ACE said
"After this date the kit will be still usable.
Activation, forum access and Tech Support (if necessary) will be still available.
But new versions of software will not be provided. "

But you can follow ACE´s upgrade policy, destroy your old UDMA and get a discount on the new UDMA.
