are you sure you're on the right track ?
because it seems to me you are trying with different ROM and LDRs and i can assume you already tried with the one that matches yours, but with no success ?!
maybe it's bad heads for example, trying with countless number of ver. doesn't gonna help.

The problem in this case is that the customer damaged the original ROM chip during DIY attempt.
He tried to change PCB and transfer ROM chip to the new PCB, and now the chip is cracked . He had zero soldering-desoldering skills!!
Now I am trying to identify the original ROM version and start with LDR in order to recover native ROM!!

What I would do in a case like that is just use any old ROM + LDR from the family, read the tracks, extract the modules from the track files, find the ROM image module, and try to identify the ROM version from that.

Sometimes you find all the modules you need to rebuild the ROM that way.

it appears that he tried ROMs & LDRs from same model but different heads & head map (patient 5 heads, donor 4 heads)
but the last one he got from Tomset was the match, same heads & head map (5)

Correct version was 0001002V with 4 heads 0 1 4 5
