Seagate Kahuna,5400, burnt ROM

Is there any solution to recover data from this HDD which has defective Rom chip.
SPEC:
Seagate 2.5 Laptop Thin SSHD
Model: ST500LM000 , FW: DEMC
Pc-3000 Express identifes it as :
fam: 72, Kahuna, 5400

I have a donor HDD with FW: DEMG

Why do you think ROM is "burned"?
