Help with removing self encryption on a SAS drive

I am trying to flash firmware onto a SAS HDD, however I believe SED is my problem and not allowing this, what do I need to disable the self encryption on the drive?

I am running CentOS and the drive is ST6000NM0034.

Any advice is much appreciated.

I am using sg_write command, I have flash quite a few different drives, a lot with success and 1 type of drive which loosing the capacity however this drive 'ST6000NM0034' I am just getting a response back and I believe it is due to the self encryption on the drive;

I have not worked on this particular drive, but most newer Seagates have a 'locked' PCB and Firmware which prevents any access to the drive. Looks like yours may be one of those.

Is there anyway to unlock the PCB if that is what the issue is?
