FWIW, Lenovo's "Best Practices" (page 144) recommends that the number of data disks in a RAID-6 be a power of 2, in which case the optimal stripe size would be 512KB. Otherwise the stripe size is 64KB.

I have already been though every pdf they have on this unit.
As usual the tech they have beat it up first.

2 Sans 24 drives 3 Volumes.

I was able to get 2 of the volumes back. The client wiped one out and I am scanning the other now VMFS.

Still have to rebuild the Volume 1 on A01 to many drives quarantined and the trust command is not working to un-quarantine the drives. So I have to build this one out (11 4tb drives)

If I'm not mistaken it's not a RAID but SAN, so data is not stored linear, most likely (meaning it's not a regular RAID)
