B5 Cimarron tech unlock?

Can B5 Cimarron ROM be patched for tech unlock? I only have PC3000 6.9.16 so I don't have utility for this family yet.
The ROM had some corruption that fzabkar fixed, now just trying to get access to firmware so I can edit SMP.
