If the SA is damaged, how can I use a good module.

I am working with a WD2000JS. I have a valid copy of the translator but i am unable to write it to the SA because that part is damaged. I am new to working with the SA so forgive my ignorance. Is it possible to reassign a module to a different part of the SA? Or is my only chance to duplicate all the SA tracks to a healthy hd and hot swap?
