a) Unless you have a PC-3000, then you're asking for help in the wrong part of the forum.

b) How do you know that your "problem" (which you will need to define better, if you actually want help), will be resolved with that firmware?

c) If you don't have a PC-3000, and want some advice, then I suggest you stop this thread and fully describe your problem (and explain if you are trying to recover data including how important that data is, or whether you just want to repair the drive and don't care about the data) in the data recovery & repair section:
