WD2.5 COM Port Issue

Good day,

I've been using this WD2.5 Com port to read ROM info from WD USB drive for years, and noticed the following error message since a couple of days ago.

HDD Initialization...
Check if COM-port selected correctly and port connection
HDD Initialization...................... : Error

Has anyone encountered this problem before?

Are you using Acelab serial adapters or some 3rd party? The error might be related to that. I have also noticed they lifted the communication speed to higher rates and it is hardcoded which i told them it would be good to make configurable.
