who is interested in cooling his/her PC3000 Portable iii Device there is a great fan that i have and i am trying it every day it's so great in cooling the device and it downgrade the heat from 61-62 down to 54-55

i attached the some photos for the fan

Hi, everybody! I talked to ace technicians about such a device so here's what they told me:

A cooler works in automatiс mode, like on PC CPU: it turns on at about 60 degrees, and a user will see a warning about overheating at about 85-90 degrees.

Here is the Portable III cooler scenario:

According to the built-in temperature sensor of a single-chip microcontroller, tС is determined in the device case.

The supply fan (namely, the supply fan) picks up air from the bottom of the device case and directs it inside the case. Legs are made from the bottom of the case to provide an air gap

The fan is controlled by the PWM controller depending on the temperature in the device case.

The temperature of 60 degrees C is the threshold temperature at which the fan starts rotating at low speeds. When the temperature rises the speed increases in proportion to the temperature in the device case.

If the temperature in the device case becomes less than 60 degrees C, the fan turns off.

If the temperature in the device case exceeds 90 degrees C, then the following message will be displayed on the device screen and/or on the monitor screen of the control computer: "Temperature threshold exceeded, cool down the device!"

If the temperature in the case exceeds 99.9 degrees C, the device turns off by itself and a message appears: "The device is overheated and turned off!"

Such FAN modification - is a waste of time. Portable III will not work faster or more stable if the CPU temperature will be 50 C degrees. At the same time, it will not work unstable or slower if the temperature rises to 70C. Target temperature is 60C. The internal cooling system keeps this temperature and controls the fan rotation depending on it
