I have just had three students here. All from scratch. Their final test was to recover data from a WD given to them with many induced firmware faults. The cool bit was i gave them the hdd without PCB attached to it.
They had the full lab at disposal. They would pass only if they recover data fully from it.
One was taught on DFL, other two were taught MRT. They are doing pretty well in their area.
One already got his hands on PC3k UDMA. The DFL guy is going to get his UDMA this year.
I had a vague idea to conduct a training session in the Himalayas. People from the west can come from over the world and learn in the Himalayas about data recovery while enjoying nature. Never launched it due to my sheer laziness
It depends on how well the teacher knows the concepts and how well he can communicate it and fill the blank pages of his students mind. ACE knows it all undoubtedly..perhaps they cant impart it comfortably? perhaps the reviews above are not correct ...perhaps they are correct...very difficult to judge what the company has to offer and what it has offered in the form of training. I never took training.
