Thank you so much for your detailed response and advice! I really appreciate your help and expertise.
I’m very inspired by this field and would love to learn SSD repair. I’ve found this direction incredibly interesting, and I’m eager to dive deeper into it. Could you please guide me on how to get started and recommend any resources for learning SSD repair?
As for the equipment, besides the PC-3000 Portable, are there other tools I could consider for this kind of work, or is the PC-3000 Portable the only reliable solution? I’m ready to invest in equipment for learning purposes, even if it’s a significant investment, as I’m serious about pursuing this path.
Thank you again for your amazing support!
Best regards,
Hi,
I don't know of any alternative for PC3K Portable.
However, typical SSD SATA drives (not NVMe) can be recovered with the PC3K Express (which is a little cheaper than the Portable) and there is a cheaper alternative, MRT SSD tool, but I've never used it so I don't know how good it is. It should be decent for learning and/or DR purposes and its functionalities are similar to pc3k express SSD version, as I see online.
I guess, if you're serious about diving deep into SSD data recovery, including NVMe drives, you need pc3k portable and there is no alternative (yet).
As for guides etc, I'd start by reading thoroughly the PC3K manuals. There is no easy path here, you'll have to experiment yourself with dummy drives.
Good luck.
