Hi guy's,
Is there anyone that knows the right jumper settings to safe mode for a WD1600JD Sata?
The original manual don't say nothing of this.
I've tryed to jumper all 4, but no luck...can't get it into kernel.
Regards

Hi Amarbir,
As it turned out that it didn't work for me eventually, might be a bad pcb or wrong instuctions.
So as I didn't know for sure and got a successful reading I did not post the solution.
There is no point to tell a solution if it's wrong...or is it?

But as far as I know and heard, the pcb should be off, and no jumpers on....
Please let me know if anyone got this to work.
Cheers

Hi,
Little rectification...
My previous statement was not precise...
If drive is *WDC Caviar Cyl32 SATA U can use 4 jumper to get PSV Mode..., but **PC-3000 PCI / PC-3000 UDMA not work with such drive in kernel mode...
* Tested on WD1600JD-40GBB2 (Polaris)
** PC-3000 PCI (2.27) / PC-3000 UDMA (3.01)
