 Post subject: Format SA using PC3K

Hello firend in the net,
Is there any body know how to FORMAT SA for Maxtor Drive using PC3K? this format SA can be done using Salvation and as an available menu. Maybe some trick needed in PC3K.

The pc3k utility does not have the Format SA option in maxtor but has in WD .

-second. problem is : some sa file still bad after several time rewrite from db. by format sa from salvation them the surface is okey them rewrite group and all module.
- third. start from C is okey but seem only fix the hdd sometimes but sa area sometimes still bad.
- four. still awaiting any sugesstion.

If SA-C selfscan completes successfully its ok if not throw the drive away u will not be able to repair it .

yes. after format the sa then all module group and module can be upload smoothly. but it takes time. that why ask question for pc3k and also more familiar.
