Hey guys
I'm looking for a Seagate Momentus 5400.2 HDD,
model ST96812AS
P/N 9W3182-040
site code: AMK
and FW 7.01 --- Macbook revision

If anyone has one available i'll be thrilled :)

You'll be very very lucky to find a working one of these, and even luckier to recover.

These version is reknown for head failure and subsequent platter damage :-(

Yes I know. There was even a press release from Apple saying they're replacing these disks from their Macbooks.
I have found many of these 7.01's but none with the above combination (in most cases the site code was china --WU-- I'm looking for Singapore ---AMK---).

I've seen quite a few 7.01s from AMK - but only in latter months. Initially they were exclusively from WU.

I have complete set of this drive
60 GB with 7.01 original from MACBOOK
and still working fine
