error selft test 2f040l0 ares64

hi to all

i have a maxtor with very badsector but sa is tru
i done selftest prosses

load ldr is safe mode with chksum E7CF => utility start

also (chesum sa is E7CF)
ctrl+alt+3 (selftest)=> launch selftest =>after swithing on

then power off => power on
load ldr and check box self test monitoring then utility start
then ctrl+alt+3 (menu self test) and monitoring
but unfortunatly first led blinking and drive drd dsc after afew minute bsy and led is on !!?
pls help

i have try two another hdd 40 ares 64
this on selftest start and continues but other hdd again DRD DSC and then BSY

i have checked sa structure ,sa surface is ok !!

pls guide me
why dont start selftest,

did you try 'SA Surface Verification' with Remap option on?

but i have tested 'sa surface verificaton ' was good ,sa no bad sectors
surface hdd is scratched and have very bad sectors

repeat again with another hdd ares 64 !!!? DRD DSC then BSY

but that hdd 40 start to selftest stop in test 67 first led on and then off 4 hourse later

time solved the problem!!?
i told my hdds scratched when logical scan (in pc3000) on bad sectors power off and power on then continues how self scan could removed this bad sector on
surface disk
