Hi to all! Please infos. (kernel, marvell, sabre58) heap map changing Hd wd800jd possesss two heads (head0,1), can incapacitate one of them pra to be certain if only one and bad or the two, later I come back to qualify the two heads (head0,1) Techno mode key: Tech on................................. : Ok ROM: ROM reading............................. : Ok Heads configuration..................... : by map Heads number............................ : 2 Heads number in use..................... : 2 Switched off heads...................... : No Head map................................ : 0,1 later I change heads… comes back to work with head0 and head1? Thanks advanced... |

When you write ROM, the message is that writing completed ok? |

So, for what you've said, it has 2 heads. Try to disconnect one at each time and check what happens. |
