Data Extractor Raid Edition provides the creation of virtual RAID raid array inside Data Extractor task.

You can recover RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 4, RAID 5. Mainly Data Extractor software is targeted to recover data from damaged RAID array drive (with bad sectors, surface/head stack problems, "hot-swapped" drives etc).
As one of that virtual RAID array disk, common Data Extractor task disk can be used. When accessing the sectors on disk, all possibilities of Data Extractor and PC-3000 are used (like data imaging, work in techno mode, power-supply control, resets, sector "jumps", usage of map reading, catalog/file map reading, heads map mode and explorer mode etc.)
The HDDs, disk partitions and regions connected in common way could be used as the other virtual RAID disks. It is also possible to use disk image file or usual drive that is connected to ATA1 PORT on PC-3000 UDMA board.

For RAID 5 and RAID 4 it is possible to recover the data without one drive.
It is not necessary to image all the data from RAID and damaged drive in the cases when only one drive is damaged. Since this situation is quite rife, this ability helps to recover the data much more effectively than any other tool in the world.

After the testing procedures are completed, this new products will be available for our users.

It is strange, but AceLab has "beta testers" that get a version couple month before they put it out. It is possible that someone passing info forward to SD.

I think, now it's the time to inquire their "Beta Testers". They have started to look suspect now...

It's not the first time. It has happened so many times, wheather it is the case of seagate 0 MB, WD rom recovery or any other, as soon as the ace announces something, we get it from salvation. Even before releasing..I mean, there is a limit of co-incidences..but it's more then enough to proove the fact.

I don't understand what's so special about this RAID thing?
It just allows to stripe and join images into one big image based on parameters provided.
There are several tools with much more functionality available already and implementing such feature is just a 2-day job for the developer.

So far AceLab DE is the best imaging software for many professional DR companies

When did Acelab announce their RAID add on? Salvation Data announced it in the CEO New Year address. Did anyone know Acelab were working on a RAID tool before Christmas?

I asked ACE long ago about RAID. They told me that they already did the utility, which would be in-built in Data Extractor. I know now that they gave it to beta testers. It is interesting to know what are the criteria to become that sacred beta tester

For me, I simply knew the following TRUTH:

1. The RAID utility from SalvationDATA has been released to their customers FREE OF CHARGE, and it works great!!!
2. RAID utility from ACE? it is still a ghost for me, could anyone here tell me that he DID receive the so called "Beta"?
3. An interesting thing is that almost a week after SalvationDATA released their RAID beta, ACE's "long ago" RAID project came out. I said that "interesting" because that poll I found on their website:

What's the connection with the RAID Edition we are discussing? Can you show us any "Proof" to convince it is part of RAID?
