Hi to all,

Have this disk WD400BB-77AUA1, when i connect to the udma it stays BSY forever.

So i found a similiar PCB

Donor : 000 001003-000 C

When i change it , i could have ID, serial size, all the modules are ok in the utility, and i see two heads 0 1

I test the SA copy in the Composite reading , Copy 0 , Copy 1, and all the modules are green.

The info from service tracks i have this error but i think is normal for this model

Cyl -9; Head 0.......................... : Ok
WD Techno Read Error C/H/S: -9/1/280 Device Error Detected 59/40 (UNC)
.
.
WD Techno Read Error C/H/S: -9/1/327 Device Error Detected 59/40 (UNC)

Cyl -20; Head 0......................... : Ok
WD Techno Read Error C/H/S: -20/1/1 Device Error Detected 59/01 (AMN)
.
.
WD Techno Read Error C/H/S: -20/1/519 Device Error Detected 59/01 (AMN)

Cyl -20; Head 1......................... : Ok

When i start in DE and build the head maps it appear 3 Heads.

U not need ROM...

PS In this PCB ROM may be saved in Flash, or in Eprom...
