Somebody swapped the pcb and forgot to swap it back...

You need either the original PCB or its ROM, or as I believe there is no adaptive information on old Seagates, so you could get lucky with an exact matching PCB with same ROM.

Personally, best bet is to ask for native PCB.

What is the firmware on drive ?

Yes i know i will get lucky in find the same PCB, but i have almost 12 all different from this one.


The FW is 3.06.

You need pcb with M14 code .

Hi, yes i think i try that one and did not work the same appear in terminal.

i will try it and post here the logs in terminal.

Try S15 also .

Or you could load the existing ROM with correct ROM from another drive or resource file.
