This media clicks and stop again clicks and stop.

Does anyone knows how to recovery this media ?

Yes, we can recover this, but not with software of course...

Hi,

it is probably head or preamp related, PCB can be involved in the situation. So it is essential to diagnose things properly first.
Head replacement can raise some alignment issues with WDs as u might know.
Besides, if the PCB is bad, it can kill the new MHA in a glance, so, again diagnosis!

Or find a pro in your area.
Also, we can handle it if needed.

PCB is checked. I did swap with donor hard drive with patient hard drive results are same but donor works with patient's hard drive.

The head+preamp brand is the same, but the model family and the if is different.
I think this 2 pcb is not compatible, but if you match the preamp's PN or at least the registers and headmap as well, maybe should not click.

But this is too far from precise diagnose of this drive.
