If you don't buy the product through Ace Labs I can guarantee that no matter what you pay for it will be a total waste of money. This is a highly complex product that requires substantial learning curve and vendor support.

Things to consider when you buy this. One after 1 year you need to pay them 900 euro to kept getting your update, have access to the forum and their tech support. If you do not pay then you loose it all. They will cut you off from everything until you pay them this money. Second they never tell you this when you purchase this machine. Also they give you a contract on their tool and tell you it has a 1 year guarantee n this. Part true part not. They do not guarantee all the adaptors that come with this tool. If one is faulty or broken when it arrives guess what you have to pay them for another one. Or if you contact on this they will tell you it is not guaranteed a year and they will put you in contact with your sales rep to buy a new one from them. Then this is very expensive to get a new piece to you for this machine. Without it then there is problems to repair some drives. Like the PC USB terminal adaptor. If this is no good and broken you will have problems to repair Seagate and use your terminal commands. All this they do not tell you when you purchase this tool. Be ready to invest a lot of time into this tool it is not so easy to use. It will take you the years time with TS to get to know the tool and their response time back to you is very bad. If you email you can expect to wait 3 weeks for a response if you even get one. Sometimes you have to send this email off more than once and wait until they answer to you. Then normally their answer is show me report. So if you can not get a report or get a therminal output you will never get your answer back from them. You can see one of my posts here on the forum I had nothing but fatial PCI errors on this card and they would not help me out at all. Finally now the card is up and working but this took over 8 months to fix this problem. Now I can finally use this card and it is a good card and is doing what they say it will do. But in the beginning there was many disappointments and frustrations in getting this card to even work without errors. TS did not correct or even help in this problem what so ever. I also got a program with my card that had non translated places inside of it in Russian. This was very bad to understand this one also and they had no idea even after sending screen shot after screen shot to them on this one. Finally with an update this one was corrected too. Seems they sent me a very old version to install when I got this tool. If you want to do DR work this is the tool to have you will just have to work around these problems on your own or with some help here on this forum. The ACE forum was no help what so ever on all of this.

Do not get me wrong it is a good tool and well worth the money but the rest they offer is not worth it at all.

What the hell are you talking about? The update program is approx €900 PA.

the company is split into diffrent zones all over the world
so they have a diffrent price system


canada is around $400 or $800 for tech help

correct they will cut you off after 1 year if you dont pay them
and allso if your based in diffrent countries you deal with a diffrent total price system.


if you got money go with the new Atola Insight which looks very good and tech help is free of charge

Yes, you have to buy direct. They are also not interested if you don't pay updates. We have a PC-3000 UDMA card plus adaptors which we are disposing of.... you will have so sort out support yourself if you're interested.

how much for udma pc3000 you will charge if you want to sell your used one.

You can't sale Pc3000 license is not Transferrable u have to return back or destroy it,

Yes, destruction is the only option in the terms and conditions.

so it makes you wonder how many other products are like this if you agree to there terms.

I guess the only solution is to... read the terms!
