I just ran the updater on my pc3k for the first time earlier this week. Submitted my activation.arf file a few days ago, but have not received my key since. Is this delay normal? What kind of delay do people normally experience?

Usually a matter of minutes for me, too. I'd say that something is wrong and you should try again.
