guys,

i got this case, 1TB WD, SN/Model all OK
head 5 have some problems

i tried to see the HDD in Data Extractor but nothing even when scanning for NTFS Structure nothing!!

image attached for details 2 screens

any clues??

Could be encrypted data.

Disk can have XFS also or even more exotic so DE wont recognize it.
First clone it and then check with winhex or ufs explorer.

In image I see 'ABR' error. Is possible that surface is not accesible at all and no data can be found because surface is not reading.

Can you confirm if surface can be read OK ?

I would start with fixing the drive to allow sector access from within the WD utility...with these drives, this is not a process that I'm willing to explain, let alone in a public forum. I recommend you seek assistance from ACE.

why do you not edit some sectors to see what is there ;)
