how to change the Manufacturer S / N with pc-3000

hi i got a archos player and the hard drive is screwed

so i bought a new drive and was wondering how can i change the serial number
of the new drive

its because the old hard drive is married to the firmware


how easy can i do this with the pc-300 is this a easy to do

Did we not just see this post? Funny I know there was another HDD that you wanted to change the SN on it too. If you have the manuals for ACE this one should not be a problem. Go to your download box and download them and they will explain the tool well. It is a lot of reading on this one and you can start at A to go to B, back to A then to C and so on and so on. Manuals are good but you run around from different points inside them.
