Hi. Patient hdd is ST31000340AS Hdd initialize fine. But can’t access after almost LBA 275000000. Before 275000000, sector access fine. When I copy in DE, after 275000000 sectors are black cells. What is problem? SA or FW? How can i fix it? |

Did you try translator repair before? Basically you have errors on surface stopping translator load correctly. Defects should be restored back to defect list. Can be done manual only I think, not sure of automatic process for it. |

translator failure (m0,2,2,,,,,22) or defective head. check heads first. |
